Technology Lab

We are privileged to have such a well equipped technology lab at Schenck. The role of the technology teacher at Schenck is to teach technology skills through the support of the classroom curriculum. Collaboration among the classroom teacher, library media specialist and the tech teacher is the ultimate goal for creating 21st century learners at Schenck Elementary.

Our school has recently decided to pilot a video content program called United Streaming to see if it will support the classroorm curriculum and state standards as well as motivate students to learn more using a multimedia presentation medium.  This is one of many different approaches we use to enhance our learning at Schenck and support our continued efforts to stay on top of our technological goals.

On this page I shall also post pictures what we have found to be effective uses of technology. Many of these are examples of digital manipulatives which we have found to be very useful teaching tools.
